DAY 1: Welcome party with food and refreshments given by your hosts, TNT RV TOURS, the only women’s RV tour company, in Joliet, IL. Orientation of upcoming activities. D
DAY 2: Today we will not move our campers but will drive thirty some miles visiting ten different Route 66 icons. Our itinerary will include, but not limited to, the Route 66 Welcome Center, White Fence Farm, Rialto Theatre, Launching Pad Drive-In, Polk-A-Dot Drive-In and a few burma shave signs.
DAY 3: We move our rigs south from Joliet and visit several 30's & 40's gas stations, Old Log Cabin Restaurant, Lexington's famous memory lane, Dead Man's Curve, and many other 66 icons. We will rest our heads in Springfield tonight.
DAY 4: Today we will not move our rigs in that we will be visiting sites around Springfield, the land of Lincoln. You will visit the Lincoln Museum, Cozy Dog Drive-In, 66 Motel and Sheas Gas Station among others. On your return to the campground we will have a pitch-in social. S
DAY 5: Once again we will keep our motorhomes parked and travel south by cars visiting more Route 66 sites including the famous Sky View Drive-In, Wooden Nickel Winery & Saloon, Soulsby Station and Rabbit Ranch. On our return to Springfield we will have our Farewell Dinner & Activity. D
DAY 6: Farewell coffee house with continental breakfast and departure. B
